Publication Ethics

This journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any publication malpractice. All parties involved in the publication process—authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—are expected to uphold ethical behavior and integrity at every stage of publication.


1. Duties of Authors

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submitted manuscripts are original, accurate, and free from unethical practices. Authors must:

  • Submit only original work and properly cite all sources used.

  • Avoid plagiarism, including self-plagiarism or redundant publication.

  • Ensure that all listed authors have made significant contributions to the research and agree to the submission.

  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence the interpretation of results.

  • Provide accurate data and methodology to allow replication of the study.

  • Correct significant errors discovered after publication by promptly notifying the editor.

Any form of data fabrication, falsification, or manipulation is strictly prohibited.


2. Duties of Editors

Editors are responsible for ensuring a fair, unbiased, and confidential peer-review process. They must:

  • Evaluate manuscripts solely on academic merit, without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, or institutional affiliation.

  • Maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and related information.

  • Ensure the peer-review process is conducted fairly and objectively.

  • Make publication decisions based on reviewer recommendations, editorial policies, and academic quality.

  • Take appropriate action in cases of suspected ethical misconduct, including retraction or correction when necessary.


3. Duties of Reviewers

Peer reviewers play a critical role in maintaining the quality and integrity of published research. Reviewers are expected to:

  • Provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations of manuscripts.

  • Maintain confidentiality and not use unpublished material for personal advantage.

  • Identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors.

  • Report any suspected plagiarism, ethical concerns, or research misconduct to the editor.

  • Decline to review manuscripts where there is a conflict of interest.


4. Plagiarism and Academic Misconduct

The journal has a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism and unethical research practices. All submissions may be screened using plagiarism detection tools.

Forms of misconduct include, but are not limited to:

  • Plagiarism (copying text, ideas, or data without proper attribution)

  • Self-plagiarism or duplicate publication

  • Data fabrication or falsification

  • Improper authorship attribution

  • Citation manipulation

Manuscripts found to violate ethical standards may be rejected, retracted, or corrected depending on the severity of the issue.


5. Conflict of Interest

All authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any financial, institutional, or personal relationships that could influence their work. Transparency is required to ensure unbiased decision-making throughout the publication process.


6. Retraction and Corrections

The journal reserves the right to issue corrections, clarifications, expressions of concern, or retractions when ethical issues or significant errors are identified after publication. Retraction notices will remain publicly accessible to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.


7. Research Ethics Involving Humans and Animals

For studies involving human participants or animals:

  • Authors must comply with relevant ethical standards and institutional guidelines.

  • Ethical approval from an appropriate committee must be obtained and stated in the manuscript.

  • Informed consent must be secured from human participants when applicable.


8. Ethical Framework

This journal follows widely accepted publishing ethics principles, including guidelines from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All stakeholders are expected to adhere to these principles to ensure integrity, transparency, and accountability in scholarly publishing.
