Article Processing Charges

This journal is committed to full transparency in publication fees and follows the principles of the Directory of Open Access Journals regarding clear disclosure of all Article Processing Charges (APCs), waiver policies, and funding conditions prior to submission.

1. Article Processing Charges (APC)

To support open access publishing, editorial management, peer review, production, indexing, and long-term digital preservation, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance of manuscripts.

The APC structure is as follows:

  • Authors from Indonesia: Rp 3.000.000 (per accepted article)

  • Authors from outside Indonesia (Non-Indonesia): USD 500 (per accepted article)

The APC is only charged after the manuscript has been accepted for publication. There are no submission fees, review fees, or rejection charges.

2. Coverage of APC

The Article Processing Charge covers the full publication process, including:

  • Initial editorial screening and manuscript handling

  • Double-blind peer review management

  • Professional copyediting and proofreading

  • Layout editing and typesetting

  • DOI registration and metadata assignment

  • Online hosting and open access dissemination

  • Long-term digital preservation and archiving

  • Indexing and discoverability services

3. Waiver and Discount Policy

To ensure inclusivity and equitable access to scholarly publishing, the journal provides APC waivers and discounts under the following conditions:

3.1 Full Waiver (100%)

A full waiver may be granted to authors who:

  • Come from low-income or lower-middle-income countries (as classified by the World Bank), or

  • Demonstrate a lack of institutional or external research funding, or

  • Provide strong justification of financial hardship

3.2 Partial Waiver (50% or more discount)

Partial waivers may be granted for:

  • Authors from lower-middle-income economies with limited funding support

  • Early-career researchers or graduate students without institutional funding

  • Collaborative research where funding is partially unavailable

3.3 Institutional Agreements

The journal may provide:

  • Institutional discounts for universities or research organizations with multiple submissions

  • Special arrangements under Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), if applicable

3.4 Waiver Application Process

  • Waiver requests must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission

  • Requests submitted after acceptance will not be considered

  • Each application is evaluated individually by the editorial office

  • Waiver decisions are independent of editorial and peer-review outcomes

4. Payment Policy

  • APC is payable only after acceptance notification

  • Payment instructions will be provided to the corresponding author

  • Manuscripts will proceed to publication only after payment is confirmed

  • Accepted payment methods include bank transfer or other officially designated channels

5. Transparency and Compliance

This APC policy is designed in accordance with best practices recommended by the Directory of Open Access Journals, ensuring:

  • Full transparency of all publication fees

  • No hidden charges

  • Clear waiver criteria and fair access opportunities

  • Separation of financial decisions from editorial decisions

6. Non-Influence on Editorial Decisions

The ability or inability to pay APCs does not influence:

  • Manuscript evaluation

  • Peer review process

  • Editorial decisions

All editorial decisions are based solely on academic quality, originality, and relevance.
